National Lottery
Overview
New UK National Lottery play stands were prototyped and refined to realise a new point of sale concept. Minima’s practical approach to development enabled the client to review physical models then see updated parts within days.
Why
Minima focused on individual elements of a complex overall concept in isolation. Our in-house prototyping facilities allowed testing of specific features before integrating them into a final production chassis.
How
The initial designs were able to evolve quickly thanks to the ability to rapidly create physical models from virtual CAD data. Changes could be request and then demonstrated in real life so fast that decisions could be made within a week of a review update.
The result is an eye catching and functional point of sale that extends brand recognition and player services having retained the original design intent throughout the development process.
